The Beginning of an Era

Well, here I am, an official blogger.

I thought up the idea to become a sports blogger just today actually. We'll see how this works out. If you don't know me, my name is Austen Stewart. But forget that my name is Beef, Stewe, or Stew. You can follow me on twitter (@sportsfanstew) as well. Twitter is actually how this blog came about. I tweeted that I'd start this blog next week for the nominal number of 5 favorites. Although I currently have 16 followers, the 5 came quickly and here we are. I couldn't wait to start it next week, so I'm going to introduce the blog, and describe what it is to be.

As you noticed, the our site is titled S & S Sports Station. You are probably wondering who is the other S? Well that man goes by the name Nolan Schmidt (@NolanPSchmidt). You are in for some bold blogs from this man folks, and should feel honored in reading them. He will bring to the table a vast knowledge of everything basketball. He will also bring an unfiltered look at the field of sports. You can view his bold, shocking, more than likely on impulse blogs here at what we will dub S4 (credit to @MatthewWegner).

As for my side of S4, I will bring to you my opinions on sports topics I find relevant. This will indeed include at least a brief look at an update of the current status of the Los Angeles Angels. If you don't know me, my fandom for this squad is off the charts, so these updates are basically inevitable. Along with these weekly Angels updates I will comment on several other relevant sports topics so you don't have to worry about being bored to death by my constant positivity toward the Angels season. I plan on posting these blogs every Tuesday. If a major story breaks, or I am just in the mood, you can expect a impromptu blog every now and then as well.
